The Transylvanian Association is announcing a competition for high school students, as well as primary school students (grades 5-8) on the occasion of the 131st anniversary of Balázs Orbán’s death.

The Transylvanian Association (Budapest) and the Orbán Balázs Foundation (Székelylengyelfalva) Kráter Műhely Association and Publisher announce two competitions for high school students about the history of Székelys and about the work of Baron Balázs Orbán (1829 – 1890) who was the first descriptor of Székelyland, ethnographic collector, photographer, parliamentarian, builder of Szejkefürdő:
- An intellectual competition in online form with 3 consecutive written rounds for individual applicants from November 2020 to April 2021.
- Team competition for school, library, community commemoration – April – May 2021, trusting that quarantine will be eased and this project can happen.
The Association is announcing an online intellectual competition for primary school students (for individual applicants) as well, which can be completed at home during the quarantine until February 28th 2021.
